Fascial Movement

Fascia is the thin layer of connective tissue that covers and encases every organ, muscle, and structure in the body. When fascia is hydrated and free, movement is easy and painless. When restricted, a common side effect of suboptimal diet, too much sitting, and every day stress, movement is limited, tension builds, and pain can result. These classes use soft balls, pokey balls, stretchy bands, and other props, gentle motions, and intentional breathing to improve hydration and release restrictions. Benefits include stress relief, enhanced balance, ease of movement, reduced pain, and an overall feeling of lightness and well-being. All fitness levels welcome.
