Mentorship Program for New Yoga Teachers

The Mentor Program for New Yoga Teachers is designed for those who are currently enrolled in or have already completed their 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program. There is a Universe of knowledge at your disposal and we will share what we know to help you be the best yoga guide you can be. 

Through the mentorship program, we will help each other. Your mentor will share information and discuss modifications and use of props, alignment best practices, thinking on the fly, teaching off the mat, use of your voice, working with injuries and students in pain, and many other topics. In return, you will offer your skills to help Breathe grow and thrive as a business and a wellness provider. Your unique talents along with your schedule and Breathe’s needs will determine what work you complete in a work-trade arrangement. If you would rather contribute funds than your time, we can accommodate that request as needed.

Commitment and Cancellation:

We ask that you commit to our program for a minimum of 3 months with the option to continue longer. Should either you or Breathe decide to discontinue your participation in Breathe’s Mentor Program, the balance of shared work-trade will be due immediately. 
Program Components:
Practice: Take 2 or more yoga classes from your mentor monthly (day, evening, and weekend options) 

Teach: Teach 2 classes or mini-classes with your mentor present monthly (variable days/times) 

Discuss: Participate in 3 or more group mentor sessions monthly (offered weekly) 

Deepen: Meet privately with your mentor monthly 

Assist: Assist during the class of another teacher or your mentor 2 times monthly 

Enrich: Share your talents (and develop new ones!) to help Breathe grow 

Breathe Yoga Teacher Training Program

We offer a path to a teacher training program for those individuals interested in becoming yoga teachers. This program includes an online component, opportunities to take classes, in person mentoring from an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT200), student teaching, and an abundance of personalized guidance. You will gain all you need in order to become eligible for Yoga Alliance's RYT200 designation. Please contact us for more information and pricing including partial work-trade options.
